Employee Giving Programs

Employee giving is an easy way to make tax-deductible donations to Save The Music, typically with donations taken directly out of your paycheck. Many companies have internal giving programs that allow you to donate directly online. Ask your HR department to see if a program is offered and if Save The Music is registered as an approved charity.

As part of a corporate philanthropy programs, companies of all sizes will match donations that their employees make to charitable organizations. When an employee makes a donation, they request a match from their employer, who then makes a donation to the same organization. Companies usually match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1, 3:1, or even a 4:1 ratio. (Info from Doublethedonation.com)

Volunteer grant programs, also known as “Dollars for Doers” programs, are corporate giving programs created to encourage volunteerism in communities where employees live and work. Through these programs, companies provide monetary grants to organizations where employees volunteer regularly. (Info from Doublethedonation.com)
