The Bonnaroo Works Fund (BWF) contributes to nonprofits benefiting the arts, education, sustainability, and social significance. Their core values are community, creativity, and positive influence. Thanks to their generosity and support, we are able to help kids, schools, and communities realize their full potential through the power of making music. Here’s how we’ve partnered with them over the years to accomplish that.
During the 2013-2014 school year, BWF gave a grant to help jumpstart a new Keyboard Lab at Eakin Elementary School, part of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.

The following school year from 2014-2015, BWF funded a grant to help create a new Keyboard Lab at Cumberland Elementary School, part of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. They then donated to support the delivery of a Keys + Kids Grant to Hillsboro Elementary School, part of Coffee County Public Schools, during the 2017-2018 school year.

BWF’s most recent grant will support the delivery of a Keys + Kids Grant to a qualifying school in New Orleans in the 2019-2020 school year. This grant provides a state-of-the-art piano, keyboards and resources to fuel music, drama and community programs along with 10 years of programmatic support, measurement, and evaluation services.

Thank you to the Bonnaroo Works Fund for helping us change the world!

About Bonnaroo Works Fund: Somewhere near the top of the Bonnaroo to-do list is “change the world.” So, in 2009, the Bonnaroo Works Fund was created as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for the festival. COMMUNITY: lend a hand, connect with people, be generous with your time for special efforts and opportunities.
POSITIVE INFLUENCE: a grateful heart and inspired mind can only lead to more beautiful things. Be the influence for others or work with those leading the high vibes charge.
CREATIVITY: Imagination, resourcefulness, and problem-solving form the foundation for change and progress. Add a little art, beauty and inspiration and you’ve got the creative backbone that Bonnaroo was born from.
SOCIAL SIGNIFICANCE: Contribution can come in many forms but we want our efforts and the efforts of our partners to make an impact that ripples throughout the community and nudges more pebbles to ripple as well.
HUMAN DEVELOPMENT: We believe all humans can be better and do better with the right tools, inspiration, and support. We help our partners do just that.
We champion those changing the world through social impact, human development, and community inspiration. We support and collaborate with nonprofit partners doing incredible things to benefit the arts, education, sustainability, and social significance. To us, sustainability goes beyond taking care of the environment. It includes civil rights for all, creating safe spaces and equality for every human, encouraging the practices of healthy communities, and more. The world is not sustainable if a person’s voice is not heard, their environment is not healthy, or their human rights denied. From festival-wide policies to impact programming in Planet Roo, we believe we can change the world with our platform of positivity and education. The goal of BWF and Planet Roo is to provide an active and engaging space for Bonnaroo’s patrons to learn about sustainability and social impact initiatives. In an effort to expand the scope of sustainability, we will continue with our theme of healthy communities encompassing civil rights, food access, economy, environment, health, and culture.
