Wanda Coriano Save The Music Music Industry Advisory Board

Vice President, Music and Talent, MTV

Wanda Coriano serves as Vice President, Music and Talent for ViacomCBS’ Entertainment & Youth Brands.

In this role, Coriano oversees music talent across the nine brands: MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, Smithsonian Channel, Pop TV, CMT, VH1, TV Land and Logo. She is one of three leaders of Save The Music’s Music Industry Advisory Board.

A seasoned music industry veteran, Coriano is recognized in the industry for her keen eye, identifying and cultivating talent and was instrumental in securing top talent for key brand tentpoles, including MTV’s VMAs, MTV’s Movie & TV Awards, BET Awards, and Nickelodeon’s Kid Choice Awards. Additionally, she has been responsible for Norah Jones on VH1 Storytellers, and Katy Perry on MTV Unplugged and CMT Crossroads.

She began her career in the music industry as a receptionist at Jive Records and quickly moved up the ranks, flourishing in the music industry, ultimately becoming Vice President of Video Promotion for Capitol Music Group where she represented artists such as Katy Perry, Sam Smith, 5 Seconds of Summer, Tori Kelly, Mary J. Blige, Bastille and many others. She is recognized for breaking artists into the Pop arena from Urban and Country, including Chris Brown, Ciara and country music superstars Lady A.

Coriano recently attended the Executive Education Women’s Leadership Course at Yale School of Management. She lives in New York City.

Wanda is a Save The Music Board Director as well as a member of the Music Industry Advisory Board.
