Nia S. Jackson is a New York based entertainment attorney specializing in the intersection of music, law, film, and technology. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Nia’s early exposure to the arts shaped her passion for music and her professional journey. Nia’s background as a performer and songwriter informs her legal practice, grounding it in both creative insight and legal strategy. She earned her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law in 2024, where she developed a creator-centered approach to legal advocacy.

Nia has worked with leading organizations across the entertainment industry, including the American Society for Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), Atlantic Records, and StayMACRO, building a foundation of expertise across music, media, and business affairs. In addition to her legal work, Nia serves as music supervisor, collaborating with filmmakers to bring scripts to life through music, while creating opportunities for artists to expand their reach and connect with new audiences.

Nia earned her B.A. in Comparative Women’s Studies from Spelman College, where she intensified her commitment to equity, cultural analysis, and community engagement. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc. Guided by the values she cultivated at Spelman, Nia challenges traditional boundaries in the legal field, redefining what’s possible when creativity and legal expertise collide.
