Emma Johnson

Alan Sartirana

Booking Specialist at Creative Artists Agency (CAA),

Emma Johnson is a music industry professional with a passion for live performance and a longstanding belief in the power of music education. Originally from Los Angeles, Emma grew up playing piano and guitar, pursued songwriting and music production in school, and went on to teach piano lessons at the W.O. Smith School of Music in Nashville, where she witnessed firsthand the joy and growth that music can unlock for young students. That experience is a big part of why she’s excited to be part of Save The Music’s NextGen Leadership Collective.

Now based in New York, Emma is a Booking Specialist at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where she was promoted in early 2026 to serve the full agency roster in the collegiate live performance space. In her first four months in the role, she delivered over $6M in performance offers. Before that, Emma spent nearly four years as a Music Touring Assistant at CAA, working day in and day out to support artists’ touring careers. From routing tours to coordinating marketing campaigns to building relationships with venues and promoters across the country, she has always seen her role as being in service of artists, their music, and their fans.

Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. Outside of work, she volunteers weekly with PAWS NYC, helping vulnerable New Yorkers to support their pets. She is excited to bring her entertainment industry experience, her love of music, and her commitment to community to the mission of Save The Music.
