Diana Valero
Ambassador for the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation
Diana Valero is a composer, sound designer, and pianist from Caracas, Venezuela, based in New York City. She writes original music for film, advertising, and sonic branding, bringing a cinematic approach to storytelling across both narrative and commercial work. Drawing from her jazz background and her love for orchestral music, she blends acoustic and electronic elements with intentional sound design to create emotionally driven sonic experiences.
Having spent three years as a Composer and Sound Designer at Antfood, Diana has worked across advertising, video games, and experiential audio for global brands including PayPal, Google, Netflix, Etsy, Coca-Cola, Airbnb, Universal, and Whatnot. She has also composed original scores for award-winning short films and has experience in music editing and music supervision, having worked alongside Susan Jacobs and Suzana Peric.
Diana is an Ambassador for the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation and was one of three recipients of the Foundation’s Gifted Tuition Scholarship in 2020. She was also one of ten individuals selected from more than 500 applicants worldwide for the Adobe Creativity Scholarship. Diana graduated from New York University with a degree in Music Theory and Composition: Screen Scoring.
