Charlie Huang

Alan Sartirana

Product Manager at Meta

Charlie’s connection to music started in elementary school, where he tried many instruments including the piano, flute, clarinet, and trombone. He eventually stuck with the alto saxophone and went on to play in the concert and jazz bands in high school. These days, he is learning the basics of guitar. An avid fan of the performing arts and frequent attendee of Broadway shows and operas, he enjoys listening to classical and jazz, and recently traveled to Warsaw to watch the International Chopin Competition.

Having had access to music education growing up, Charlie saw firsthand how music can be a way to express emotions when words won’t suffice. He is excited to join Save The Music’s NextGen Leadership Collective to help ensure more students have access to that same emotional conduit.

Charlie attended MIT and is currently a Product Manager at Meta, where he works on AI platform infrastructure to help parents keep their kids safe online. He brings 10+ years of product management experience across consumer products including mixed reality and mobile apps, and backend infrastructure including machine learning, security, privacy, and data governance.
