Lee Goforth began his career at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in Los Angeles in fall 2006, starting in the mailroom and rising through roles as an assistant, trainee, and agent in the music department. A driving force behind the expansion of CAA’s festival division, he has worked across genres to develop long-term strategies and roadmaps for artists at every stage of their careers. Recognized by Billboard as one of its Top 40 Under 40 music executives in 2021, his client roster includes Tate McRae, Conan Gray, Troye Sivan, Pentatonix, Charley Crockett, Old Crow Medicine Show, and O.A.R., among others. Based in CAA’s New York office, Lee lives in Stamford, CT with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, he can be found on the sidelines watching his kids’ sports, at the beach, or watching the Dallas Cowboys.

The Music Industry Advisory Board aims to ensure that students have access to a diverse set of successful music professionals, so they are aware that there is more to the industry beyond being on the main stage. Our mission is to close the gap for the next generation of music industry professionals to create a more inclusive and diverse future.
