Social Media Content Creator (Internship)

Position Summary:

The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for creating social media content for Save The Music’s priority channels. The intern will work closely with the Save The Music marketing team to help develop and execute a content roadmap that aligns with the organization’s mission and goals. The ideal candidate will have basic design skills (Canva/Adobe Creative Suite), photo/video editing skills, experience creating TikTok and social video content, and a passion for music education.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging social media content (graphics, videos, photos, and animations) that aligns with Save The Music’s mission and goals
  • Participate in the ideation and brainstorming of creative content campaigns
  • Assist in planning and scheduling content across various social media platforms
  • Engage with Save The Music audiences across key channels: Instagram, TikTok, Twitter
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and inform marketing team of ongoing best practices 
  • Assist with the analysis and reporting of social media metrics to inform engagement and content strategy


Requirements:

  • Design experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Photo/video editing skills
  • Experience conducting or participating in brand ambassador campaigns
  • Strong content creation skills
  • Social Media Copywriting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and are process oriented 
  • A passion for music, the music industry, and  music education
  • Must be based in New York
